series 18 heavy duty stage track

Series 18 is our own heavy duty stage curtain tracking system. This tracking system can be used in many different configurations
for many applications, including; stage curtain tracks, cyclorama
tracks, studio perimeter tracks and very large drop window curtain tracks. Rear fold running gear is also available for cinema masking and scenic backdrops Series 18 is available in standard lengths of 6m. Standard bends are available or non-standard bends can be supplied in any nominated radius above 600mm. Continuous long radius bends can be supplied to suit curved prosceniums or cycloramas.

Series18 tracking system can be adapted to suit many requirements with standard options. A switch (point) unit, allows curtains to cross between tracks on twin track arrangements, or can divert curtains from a perimeter track to central room divider track. A drop out section allow a section of track to be lowered so curtains can be safely  loaded or unloaded at floor level. Depending upon the application and requirement series 18 track can be motorised, cord drawn or hand drawn. Cording systems are available for multiple curved arrangements.

The rigidity and strength of this track allows it to be supported at 2.5m to 3m centres. Series 18 profile allows for pickup points on three sides. Many mounting accessories are available allowing wall fixing, suspended fixing, soffit mounting and batten mounting. Additionally, many commercially available strut fittings are compatible.

Series 18 draw winch is available in floor mount or track mount versions. The winch  utilises a traction drive system with fibre rope draw lines,  resulting in system which much quieter and more reliable than traditional wire rope helical drum systems.
