Installations vary on a job to job basis. In static installations (no flying system)
borders and legs are generally tied to 48mm OD pipe hung from the roof structure.
On small stages, legs are often ties to swivelling battens set at an angle. Pipe
battens installed for curtains usually are rigged only for the weight of the curtains,
however if nominated at the design stage, battens etc can be designed to allow for
heavy weight lighting and scenery.
